Mesh Quilt Saddle Pad

Why we love it…
With it’s classic and discreet design this saddle pad instantly became a barn favorite after only several months with it on trial here at Taktur. It comes in the more traditional saddle pad shape and includes velcro attachments at the front and velcro girth loops to help keep the pad in position. We love this pad for three primary reasons. The first is that the mesh material of the pad is quite breathable which is perfect when riding on those hot and sweaty Kentucky summer days. The material is airy as well as moisture and heat transporting due to it’s multilayer polyester mesh. This saddle pad dries quickly after use. The second reason is that the multilayered design of the material also offers great shock-absorptive qualities for optimal comfort. The final reason that this pad has become an essential is that it is close contact and not as thick as some of our other pads allowing for better saddle fit and feel. This pad is comfortable for the horse and a practical choice for day to day riding and also competitive situations.
Consider this…
If you are like us and are accustomed to using half pads as opposed to the full pads you may become irritated with adjusting the girth loops and how the saddle pad becomes attached to the saddle. Generally this isn’t an issue unless you are switching the saddle pad between saddles.
