Black Shiny Bridle

$120.00

By EQUES

Why we love it…

This bridle and drop noseband gives a professional sleek look but stands up to the wear and tear of daily training. We use our bridles extensively and unfortunately we are not the best about cleaning and maintaining them. Here at Taktur we rarely invest in bridles with “bling,” as in our experience they do not stand up to our rigorous use. This bridle has a cleaner and more fancy appearance than our basic training bridles but still seems to stand up to being used on multiple horses a day.

Drop nosebands are the traditional choice of noseband in our industry. Drop nosebands when properly fitted support the horse without clamping their mouths shut. They help stabilize and secure loose rein snaffles (our primary choice of bit) in the horses mouth.

Consider this…

Drop nosebands can be misused, therefore proper adjustment is key. The noseband should be positioned approximately four fingers up from the nostril. The tightness of the noseband should be adjusted so that at least two fingers can easily fit underneath it. The noseband piece goes over the bridle and bit rings but in front of the reins.
