Basic Ergonomic Girth

$182.00

Why we love it…

This was one of the first ergonomic girths on the Icelandic horse tack market. It has stood the test of time as it is still a popular item. The wide design with the curve distributes pressure for a more comfortable fit for the horse. We have also found that the width seems to help the saddle not slide forward as much during competitions or when riding on steep trails. These girths are durable and less expensive than some of the newer ergonomic girths. When tacking up they are very efficient as the buckles are easy to work with and the girth straps are easily tucked into the leather keepers. Another benefit is this girth comes in four different lengths so it can accommodate a variety of horses. This has become a standard item in our training barn.

Sizes: 35cm, 40cm, 45cm, 50cm

Consider this…

Leather/padding can become stiff on the edges after years of use.
