One of our favorite events each year is hosting Patrick and Avery Sullivan of Gamilah Unbridled and Modern Day Horsemanship. Patrick and Avery see the good in each horse and human they encounter and have made it their mission to use liberty training to help bring out that goodness in everyone. Their joy is infectious and their incredible ability to share their liberty training expertise is truly one of a kind.

About Patrick and Avery
Patrick is a native Texan that discovered what liberty could do for the horse-human connection and never looked back. He is perhaps most famous for riding 2,500 miles from California to Kentucky completely bridleless - visiting 20 non profits along the way. Recently Patrick also earned the Grand Champion title in the 2022 Appalachian Trainer Face of professional division.
Avery has been a life long horse lover but discovered liberty horsemanship in 2019 and it has her primary passion ever since. She has competed successfully in liberty competitions, studied under many top professional trainers, and traveled doing teaching demonstrations, and performances around the USA. Notably she earned the Glow Up Award in the 2022 Appalachia Trainer Face Off professional division.
Patrick and Avery are an incredible team. Together they are particularly well known for their Rescue Horse Project where they took 7 of the toughest rescue horses in the country and rehabbed their relationship with humans through exclusive use of liberty training and bridleless riding. They also continued that work with The Extra Mile initiative turning some of the most challenging rescue horses in the nation into advanced liberty horse teams. Patrick and Avery are the founders of the Equine Liberty Organization and travel nationwide sharing their love of liberty and bridleless riding through clinics and demonstrations.
